The Right Compactor for Every Application

The Mark-Costello Co. has been placing compactors across Southern California and beyond for 70 years. We carry the full Marathon lineup — stationary, self-contained, and specialty models — and we know which unit belongs in a food court versus a high-rise versus a transfer station. If you're not sure what you need, we'll tell you straight.

Stationary Compactors

Stationary compactors are the workhorse of commercial and industrial waste management. The compactor body is fixed in place; a separate open-top container is hauled when full. Best for dry waste with no free liquid.

Who uses them: Supermarkets, retail centers, malls, warehouses, distribution centers, apartment complexes, stadiums.

RamJet 225 Series

2 cubic yard | Light to medium commercial

The entry point into the Marathon stationary lineup. The RamJet 225 handles standard dry waste loads for smaller retail and commercial accounts. Available in standard and High Force configurations for applications with denser material.

RamJet 275 Series

2.5 cubic yard | Mid-volume commercial

Steps up in capacity for accounts generating more volume between pickups. A common fit for mid-size grocery, hospitality, and mixed-use retail.

RamJet 325 Series

Heavy commercial | High-force applications

Built for denser loads and higher throughput. The 325HD adds heavy-duty construction for demanding environments.

RamJet 400 Ultra Series

High-volume stationary

Marathon's heavy-duty stationary platform for large-volume accounts — industrial facilities, large distribution centers, high-throughput food processing.

M-Series Heavy Duty Stationary

Industrial-grade | Demanding Environments

The M-Series is built for environments that eat through standard equipment. Manufacturing, industrial processing, applications with abrasive or high-density waste streams.

Trash Commander Series

TC-300T | 2 Cubic Yard TC

A reliable mid-market stationary platform for commercial accounts. The Trash Commander series offers straightforward operation and a proven track record in retail and grocery applications.

Not Sure What You Need?

We size equipment for a living. Tell us what you're hauling, how often it gets picked up, and what your footprint looks like — we'll tell you which unit makes sense and whether you should buy or rent it.

Self-Contained Compactors

Self-contained units keep the compactor body and container integrated as one sealed system. When the container is full, the entire unit — compactor and container together — is swapped out by the hauler. Required for any application with wet waste or liquid-bearing material.

Who uses them: Supermarket produce and meat departments, restaurants, food courts, flight kitchens, healthcare food service, hotels.

RJ-88SC

Self-contained | Standard capacity

The go-to self-contained unit for most commercial food waste applications. Sealed design prevents leaks and odor. Available with a range of container configurations.

RJ-88HT

Self-contained with hydraulic tailgate

Adds a hydraulic tailgate for situations where loading height matters. Common in tight receiving areas or applications where bulk material needs to be loaded efficiently.

RJ-250 SC Ultra

Self-contained | High-volume | Our most-requested model

The RJ-250 SC Ultra is the highest-traffic product page on the MCC site — and for good reason. It's a workhorse for large-volume wet waste applications: stadium food courts, large grocery operations, university dining, hotel food service. Available in 15 to 34 cubic yard container capacity.

RJ-250 HT

Self-contained with hydraulic tailgate | High-volume

The hydraulic tailgate variant of the RJ-250 for applications where the loading configuration requires it.

Buy, Lease, or Rent

The Mark-Costello Co. offers compactors through purchase, long-term lease, and rental. Most of our rental customers are on 5-year terms with full maintenance included — parts, labor, and service calls. If something breaks, we fix it. That's been our model for 70 years.
